Services Offered

I am excited to be paired with Baker Family Counseling, LLC to provide counseling services to Northeast Ohio! Our practice currently includes six independently-licensed therapists with almost five decades of experience among us. We specialize in individual, family and couple’s counseling for school-aged children, adolescents and adults. We provide in-office and telemedicine counseling via phone or video conferencing. We have a wide variety of specialities: among them are addiction, divorcing couples/parents, trauma, chronic illness, autism, gifted children, adjustment to life circumstances, depression/anxiety, highly sensitive people/children, grief/loss, marriage, and more. We take a culturally-sensitive, person-centered approach to counseling and strive to meet people where they are.

About Me

I have been a state-licensed professional counselor since 2012. I previously worked in a community mental health agency where I cut my teeth as a therapist and eventually had the honor of being the clinical supervisor for the dual diagnosis team. Here, I learned first-hand the devastating effects of the opioid crisis, and this experience informed my work with individuals and families struggling with addiction. I’m now in private practice with several talented colleagues, and we provide a wide variety of mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. I relish the opportunity to bring my well-developed clinical intuition and experience in research and education to bear on my counseling practice, to help people build their best lives and grow well.

Insurance & Rates

We accept most major insurances doing business in Ohio, as well as Ohio Medicaid. We have a cash rate for clients who prefer to self-pay, and we can provide teletherapy for clients in rural areas payable by some insurances or self-pay with credit cards.

Supervision & Training

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with my supervisory designation (LPCC-S), I provide mentoring and supervision to graduate-level LPC trainees and LPC therapists pursuing independent licensing. I have experience teaching k-12 as a full-time substitute educator, and in college as an Adjunct Faculty member at Kent State University Ashtabula. I have created and presented interactive programming for elementary-level students on mental wellness. Additionally, I will soon be providing professional development for teachers, and CEUs for LPCs, LPCCs, LSWs, LISWs, and chemical dependency professionals in Ohio.
